My stay at Barcelo Mexico Reforma had its ups and downs. The hotel's grand architecture and friendly staff were definite highlights, but I faced issues with room temperature and miscommunication at breakfast. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to nearby attractions, though some services fell short of expectations.

Rooms
5.0
While my room was spacious and clean, I faced challenges with heating. The thermostat didn't help much, and the bed was cold at night. I was offered to move rooms, but the alternative was smaller, which was disappointing given the amount paid.
Service
6.0
Most staff were pleasant and helpful, especially Gabito and Ena. However, there were instances of miscommunication regarding my included breakfast, and I felt some of the staff could have been more attentive to guest needs.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is excellent for tourists, with many sights within walking distance. I appreciated being close to attractions like Bellas Artes and El Zocalo, making it easy to explore the vibrant city.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast offered a variety of options, though some foods could have been better. My experiences with seemingly included meals created a bit of stress, but overall, the service at dining was accommodating when there were issues.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had potential, but some areas felt dated. I also encountered issues with the gym's condition and cleanliness. Overall, the experience with amenities left something to be desired.

I had a mixed experience at Barcelo Mexico Reforma. While the staff was incredibly accommodating and helped with various requests, some aspects of my stay fell short of expectations, especially regarding room service. I loved the location and the views from my room, but I think improvements are needed in dining options and noise control.

Location

The hotel's location is fantastic—central and close to many historical sites like the Zocalo and Palacio de Bellas Artes, making it very convenient for exploring Mexico City.
Dining

While breakfast options were varied and plentiful, the room service was disappointing. Some meals seemed poorly prepared and not up to par for a hotel of this caliber.
Facilities

The hotel had good facilities like a gym with city views and concierge assistance, but room service and dining options need work.

My recent stay at Barceló Mexico Reforma was mostly positive, thanks to its excellent location and comfortable accommodations. However, the hotel has some quirks that left me feeling uneasy, particularly regarding the premium services that aren't clearly communicated. The dining options had their ups and downs, but overall, I enjoyed my experience.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and great showers. I appreciated the well-appointed amenities, though some elements felt a bit dated.
Service
6.0
Service was a mixed bag. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others at the concierge seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which was frustrating. I did enjoy the complimentary drink they offered at check-in, although there was confusion about its validity after several uses.
Location
9.0
The hotel location is fantastic; it's right on Reforma and well within walking distance of many attractions. It made exploring the city very convenient.
Dining

Dining options were hit or miss. While I enjoyed the food at el Caballito in the basement, the premium lounge lacked good quality offerings. I found better options nearby, making the dining experience at the hotel less appealing.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has a nice bar area and a well-equipped gym, which I appreciated. However, some aspects, like the spa facilities, felt limited and they could enhance the dining experience.
